Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 6 dias. Fui entrevistado pela BarkBud Dog Walkers (New York, NY) em mai. de 2015
Entrevista
I submitted an application, there was an interview, and a few days later they contacted me asking some follow up questions to confirm a few things. They offered the position to me and I accepted, and there was an on-boarding/training process after all that. It was fairly quick and easy to get started with them. When I applied they needed people to cover clients as soon as possible, so I'm sure it was faster for me.

They obviously inquired about my experience with different types of dogs, as well as how to handle various situations that I may encounter on walks, how to correct certain behaviors that dogs may exhibit. The main thing that they are looking for is if you have a good head on your shoulders, and if you are a honest, reliable, responsible person. This is the most important thing. The job isn't rocket science, you just need to show them that you can be counted on.
They asked about my current and future availability, as well as my current job and future career goals. I think they just want to make sure that you won't only be around for a week or two for some extra cash. They want people that will be sticking around for months and months. I think they have an option to become a backup walker if you will only be around temporarily though.

I saw the ad on Indeed, then filled out their online application (which has lots of questions and a dog 101 quiz). I did an interview, and was contacted back to join.

Lots of questions to see if you are going to have a consistent long term schedule with them.
