Total process was just over 2 months. I applied through a recruiter. Had a couple video interviews before flying out to California for a panel CIDS interview. Got great feedback and my references were called. A few days later I was told I needed to have a conversation with the VP just as a formality, but that the job was mine and that the written offer could only come after this conversation. I got feedback that they were no longer making me an offer after that "formality." Process needs to be readjusted where no one spends time and money flying out to California as well as calling references until ALL parties are on board through video interviews.
