If you are contacted through a temp agency, they will be the ones setting up everything for you and guiding you along the way. First is the phone interview and then the in-person interview where you meet with your manager and a few others you would be working with. During my in-person interview, I got a quick tour of the plant as well.

Quick and professional interview. HR representative asked me technical questions and inquired about my professional background and how it will help me succeed in the job. The interviewer was polite and willing to share any important details about the job and what kind of benefits would be available.

The initial interview for this position was cancelled the morning of. I was not directly notified, but the third party recruiting services were. A reason for cancellation was also not provided, so I assumed the position was filled or the budget was cut for this position.
