The original interactions I had with the recruiter for this position were very positive, however the subsequent in person interview I had was pretty awful. I interviewed about a year ago in Feb 2017 and was more interrogated rather than interviewed. I was asked in a rather accusatory way of whether I was combative with colleagues, asked if I would throw a table at someone in an argument, it was extremely unprofessional and a huge waste of my time. It was also like the recruiter didn’t discuss my candidacy or the questions I had asked, as for example, when working remotely was brought up (which I had discussed with the recruiter and was given the green light), the people I were interviewing with said it would not be possible. Had I known this, I wouldn’t have even bothered to make the 1.5 hr commute to the interview.
