Applied online and had a 30 minute interview setup pretty quickly with someone from their recruiting department. The interview was primarily about the company and my background. Unfortunately half of the interview felt like an investor pitch with the interviewer boasting about the leadership’s accomplishments, how much they raised in their Series A , and what social media influencers were using the service. The remainder of the interview was about my background but most of the questions asked could be answered by my resume. There was basically no time for me to ask questions.

Got reached out by a 3rd party recruiter about the position. Initially, I was very excited since the company was building out products that aligned highly with my technical experience as well as my personal interests.
However, it seems like the company itself was a bit disorganized. There was an instance in which one of the recruitment organizers sent me another email to set up an interview time even though I had already scheduled a technical phone screen. I reached out to see if this was a mistake or if this new interview was a different call. I got no response or clarification on this. As for the initial tech screen, my interviewer reached out and canceled the call leaving the next available call a week later.

The recruiting agency that worked with Beacons reached out to me, and I sent over my resume. Interviews were scheduled, and multiple rounds met with mostly the founders and talked about tech stacks, prior experience, etc.

There were 2 tech rounds and 1 or 2 behavioral rounds. The tech rounds were mainly testing the familiarity of the tech stack Beacons is using and it's straightforward.
Behavioral rounds were no more than chatting with the founders, and team members, it was cool and chill.
