Fiz uma entrevista na empresa BenefitHub (Tampa, FL).
Entrevista
They brought me through an entire interview process, gave me an offer in writing, and then rescinded it over a completely professional response negotiating by a few dollars. After which point, they completely abandoned any response or communication.

They did not lead any conversation, ask, or indicate that there was zero flexibility on rate, and their offered rate was below industry standard and was to be skimmed through Upwork.
Easy and straight-forward. Enjoyed the interview process and conversation with peers. Was notified timely and was updated throughout the process. Interviewed with Human Resourses, hiring managers, team and peer leaders.

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela BenefitHub (Tampa, FL) em jun. de 2019
Entrevista
I submitted an application for this Position that they said they were wanting to hire a Production Support Individual due to too much time being spent on these issues by rest of Development Staff. I was invited in for a face to face over an email without a phone screen by HR. I suggested a phone call first with hiring manager. They complied and it sounded good on the phone. I made sure they understood my specialty areas and how it applied to the Position. We agreed on face to face and four individuals interviewed me including one who was presented as CTO. Things seemed to go well. I was told I would be provided decision the following week. Before the week was over the HR person called to say the Director wants me to complete an exercise in C# and .NET. Had they been open about this upfront I wouldn't have agreed to face to face. Grudgingly, I spent time over the weekend to install Visual Studio Community Edition and spent the time to complete their exercise. While installing VS the instructions said to install 2017 Edition but I could only find 2019 so I called the Director to ask about this since the HR person didn't seem to be the appropriate person to ask and he said he would be OOO on that Fri. The Director was not available so I left a VM. No one returned the phone call. Thinking this was a genuine offer of employment I spent the time and completed the exercise and provided completed code in form of password protected ZIP file. I emailed HR person for an ETA after emailing the completed exercise. It has now been four weeks and not a single person has followed up with me - not even a courteous phone/email to say my application has been denied. I do not recommend wasting time to interview with this company.
