Screening interview and interview with VP went great, seemed like a very good fit. Had another call with a partner and was moved forward in the process to complete a writing assessment. I then had a call with the VP who very strongly implied they wanted to hire me but had just added some new positions and were deciding where I might fit. Completely ghosted after that, I followed up via email and heard nothing after 4 calls and a writing assessment. I also saw this on another review so I'm echoing it here - the interview I had with the partner was pretty off-putting, he was rude and didn't seem satisfied with a single one of my answers after the first two went incredibly well. He would demand specifics about how I would operate in the role that I couldn't give without knowing how the company worked, and then tried to scare me by saying "this is NOT a 9-5 job and people always say that they can handle it but you have to work nights and weekends and xyz."

The interview process was fine, but I got to a 3rd round interview after completing and submitting a market research project for them and taking time with them for 3 weeks, and they completely ghosted me after the final interview and many follow-up emails.
