The interview process with Benevolent was broken into three stages. The first stage was a call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team, Brady. In this call, we spoke a little about my background and what I was looking for in a new role. I was also given lots of information about Benevolent, the role, and the compensation package. The second stage was a technical screen (Hackerrank) with one engineer. Before this, I was asked to sign an NDA for the remainder of the interview process. The final stage was broken into three sections. First was another technical question (again, Hackerrank) with one engineer. The second was a call with two engineers where we discussed software engineering practices. After a short break, the final section was another Hackerrank question with one engineer. After this, I had another call with Brady where he gave me feedback on my performance in the interviews, and was given an offer! Overall, the interview process was excellent. It was great to have one point of contact who I could reach out to with any questions I had. I also really appreciated the thorough feedback I was given.

Had the first interview with a member of the HR team. Was emailed right after saying that they were very impressed with me and that they would email me within the week to schedule the next interview. Didn't hear back for a couple of weeks of not hearing back and was told they were not going to be hiring for that position anymore. Two days later I got a very similar email saying the same thing again (probably an automated email).
