Contacted by better on LinkedIn. I had 2 rounds of technical interviews through a third-party company called karat followed by 4 rounds of interviews focused on design in virtual onsite. Everything went well and I was contacted a week later with a verbal offer. This is when things turned bad, the recruiter started giving me the run around for 4 weeks, and eventually, I was just ghosted. Based on other reviews here, ghosting seems to be common. According to posts on blind, better has stopped hiring and even laid off some people because of the upcoming IPO. I would have appreciated better being honest with me about it instead of wasting my time. Do not bother interviewing with better, it is a waste of time.

First Round- Karat Second Round - Virtual Onsite They don't have any interest to hire anyone. They simply wasted my one day of time. There is no feedback on the interview. I got interview slot after 3 weeks of my first round. The HR never called me to brief me about the interview. It was communicated through emails.
