Entrevista
I applied at Trussle and the process took around a week. I withdrew quite early on as the length of the process was unreasonably long and time consuming.
The initial call with the recruiter was just asking about my CV, I didn't get an opportunity to ask any questions at this point which was quite bad.
The next stage was 30 minutes with the hiring manager. He was very nice, it was mostly just a session to ask questions.
The next stage was to submit a technical test which was a huge amount of work for just "2 hours". They wanted a frontend and backend app with an algorithm on the backend, with tests across the full stack. It would take two hours to scaffold the projects and setup test frameworks to an acceptable standard. Insanely unreasonable in my opinion. I withdrew at this point because I didn't believe the role was right for me anyway. The recruiter blanked me which was quite unprofessional considering I didn't want to waste their time if I wasn't fully invested.
If I had continued, there would have been another session to go over past experience, another for the technical test review, another for system design, and finally a cultural interview. I'm not sure if these were all done in a couple of sessions or not.
Honestly this is insane considering the salary for this role was pretty much average. This is almost at FAANG level of ridiculousness.
