Very long and tedious process. First round was an interview with the recruiter and then the second round was with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was great- and I found myself excited for the role. I then had another round where I had to interview with multiple people. Half of the interviews were great, really friendly individuals. But a few of the other interviews not so much. One was very condescending, and made it very clear his role was higher then what I interviewed for. Another interview started off with the suggestion I should see what other jobs they post in the future. And then advised to not small talk in order to not get to know me so there would be no favoritism. These interviews did no reflect the culture they are promoting. Especially coming from a start up- Betterup has red flags all over the place. Three months after I did my first round of interviews they asked me to the final round which I declined. If they take three months to hire someone- how long is it taking to get things done once hired?
