1. Received a very short email from a recruiter asking me to answer 2 questions and then reply with the responses. Mainly about why I wanted to work there/what I have to bring to the table and why do I want to work in this position. 2. Asked for a preliminary interview and to sign a NDA and the preliminary interview was a phone call-asking about my experience and how I’d be a good fit for the role. 3. Was given a “take home assignment” basically sample emails from customers and how I would respond to them. 4. Emailed about another interview with 2 people…. During the interview they asked me about myself, the basics and my experience for the role. Felt good about the interview and somewhat comfortable. 5. Got an email saying I didn’t get the job and then when asked what I could do to improve for future interviews or any advice they had for me, all they said was the team is moving forward with another individual that better suited the role. You’d think the least they could do was actually write a thoughtful response… putting yourself out there for any application, interview, etc is really tough and it felt like a slap in the face. I’ve also heard they make employees write a good review on here within the first few months of hiring them and if they don’t or they challenge it, they get fired… not a company I’d like to work for. Maybe a blessing in disguise that I didn’t get this job…
