It went okay overall. With my experience, I should've been given the job. The person they gave it to has a background in PR. The first round, great! Second round, she said "I don't know what to ask you." My resumé should've said enough that I was meant to have that position. They also felt comfortable to share with me the internal issues they have with staff.

Lots of questions to answer during the application process. 2nd step is a video of yourself promoting the brand for a specific event (which I'm always weary of with AI able to replicate your likeness, etc., but I did it anyway). A part of me felt they would use the video without permission during the event so I waited until the day after the event to forward my clip and 3rd step was going to be a video meeting. Before that happened I started to get a ton of calls from telemarketers. I quit the process at that point. Could be legit, but too many flags for me.

The interview process went great. The follow up process is where they dropped the ball. Had a great interview was told I should be hearing something from HR about next steps/ onboarding and that it may take days to hear back, which I was fine with. One week passed without any further communication. I decided to reach out via email to the hiring manager and the Individual I had the interview with via phone call twice was told I'd be finally getting a follow up call/email that day only for them to go silent once again. Two weeks later and same result. I can understand the process taking a little time which is completely fine, but to be left completely in the dark in the end is not the way to do things professionally for what is supposed to be such an upstanding place of business. No since in wasting someone's time to come in for an interview if you don't have any intentions of reaching back out even if it's to let the person know the company moved in a different direction. Do Better!!
