The interview process had three technical rounds: First Round – Technical Interview (Direct Report): I was asked to solve a LeetCode-style coding problem and explain my approach. The interviewer also asked about my Java backend experience. Second Round – Architect Interview: Focused on system design, scalability, and handling high-concurrency scenarios. We discussed trade-offs and best practices for large-scale systems. Third Round – Head of Engineering Interview: More high-level, covering my past projects, technical leadership, and cultural fit. After these rounds, HR contacted me to confirm my salary expectations. Later, I was informed that I was not selected. Overall, the process was professional and structured. The first round required strong coding ability, while the second and third rounds tested system design and leadership depth.

2 interviews in total. Both interviewers are from China and speak Mandarin. Lots of technical questions about the language you used in the past experiences but no questions about data structure and algorithm.
