The interview process consisted of four rounds designed to assess both technical and interpersonal skills:
Screening Round (Online Assessment):
An initial online coding test consisting of data structures and algorithms questions.
The test evaluated problem-solving skills, time complexity understanding, and code optimization.
Platform: (e.g., HackerRank, CodeSignal, or company’s internal platform)
Technical Round 1 (DSA & Core Concepts):
Conducted by a software engineer or SDE.
Focused on DSA, problem-solving, and core CS fundamentals such as Operating Systems, DBMS, and OOP.
Included live coding on a shared platform and discussion of multiple approaches.
Technical Round 2 (System Design / Project Discussion):
Included questions on low-level system design, project experience, and real-world problem-solving.
Emphasis on project walkthrough, decision-making, scalability, and trade-offs.
Behavioral questions related to teamwork and challenges faced during the project were also asked.
HR Round (Behavioral + Fitment):
Aimed at assessing cultural fit, communication skills, and future goals.
Questions included strengths and weaknesses, why this company, and expected contributions.
Also discussed availability, notice period, and basic HR formalities.
