      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Biomodels (Waltham, MA) em jul. de 2021

      Entrevista

Application to time of interview was pretty fast: about a month. First interview was virtual with a few staff scientists where they described the job's role/responsibilities and vaguely alluded to the prospect of advancement within the company. They did not seem to have a clear picture for what this could be, citing that employees of smaller companies like theirs have the opportunity to wear many hats within the organization. The second interview was in-person a few weeks later with the same two scientists I spoke with previously. Two other scientists joined later and discussed what they envisioned the role to be, asking many of the same questions I had already been asked. Afterwards, the initial two interviewers took me around for a tour of their facilities, brought me back to a conference room for a final interview with an executive where I was asked most of the questions I had already answered - for a third time - with the two original scientists sitting in. Overall, everyone I met was super nice and approachable but the interview process didn't feel very coordinated, the actual role less dynamic than its posting promised, and I got the feeling they realized during the interview process they didn't really need to hire anyone full-time for the work they needed doing.

      Pergunta 5

We work on many projects simultaneously and sometimes we have clients that have urgent requests for information about studies we conducted for them in the past, even years past, that they need for a deadline of their own. How do you prioritize deadlines of many ongoing projects, especially when new ones unexpectedly present themselves?
