I did a 1 on 1 phone interview that I thought went really well, the person I spoke with said I'd receive a call the next day to set up a face to face interview, but I never even got the call. Then several weeks later I received an email saying they've chosen to go with another candidate, without even properly interviewing me. Just seems like a poor way to handle that; telling candidate's you'll be in touch and then never reaching out again.
