I went through two stages of interviews, but due to timing and being offered another role, I did not follow through with the third stage. I wanted to leave a review because my experience in the first two stages was great. I had a welcoming, warm and informative call with their Talent Acquisition team. They were easy to talk to and gave me all the answers I needed to ensure I wanted to move forward and hear more about the role. My second stage was with the hiring manager who was knowledgeable and really open about what they were expecting from the role, while also engaging in my past experience and accessing why I might fit the role. The manager explained what the company does, the direction the company is moving and the future of the industry. I was offered a third-stage interview but turned it down due to another offer. Still, my experience with the people at the company was great considering how other talent teams and recruiters are treating candidates at the moment.

I agree with the negative feedback other candidates have provided. I applied for the role and received an email from the recruiter asking when I was available to discuss the position. I offered them several time slots well within the allocated timeframe, but received no confirmation. A week passed, and I contacted them again to say that I was no longer interested. They replied, saying they had been on holiday. So why ask me to book a slot in the first place? Some recruiters seem to forget that there is a considerable amount of effort involved in preparing for an interview. I found this very unprofessional and will not apply for another role with them.
