There were about 8-10 interviews. I lost count at some point. I spoke with 5 people several of them twice. Everyone was very polite. However this is way too many interviews for the position.

After applying online I received an email from a recruiting company 2 days after my application in order to schedule a screening call. After the screening call, I received a work simulation project/case study. It included questions about how I would respond to two separate client email scenarios as well as a visual design statement demonstrating my values as a designer. After I submitted my case study, I followed up twice with the recruiter before I heard back from her about 2 weeks later to schedule an interview in internal interview with who would become my supervisor. The interview went well and after the call I received an info sheet about the different contract options for freelancers. Within the following 2 days I received a contract for the option I had selected. After submitting my application I started in my role in about 2 weeks.

Typical to all start ups and tech companies these days, I then had to complete a design challenge and was contacted to set up the next round of interviews with the leader. He was so professional, and the reason why I chose Block!
