Phone interview: One week after my online application Bloomberg called me for a phone interview without prior notice. They were really nice and asked questions concerning the motivation to work for Bloomberg and the particular role. I think, they want to check, if you're really interested in financial markets, Bloomberg and the role. The interview took 10 minutes.
2 further 2:1 interviews at Bloomberg: I was invited to two further interview rounds at Bloomberg, which lasted one hour. The people were very nice and friendly. The interviews were competency based, so mainly questions about skills and the role.
As long as you can explain, why you want to work for Bloomberg and particularly do this job, you're on the safe side. You should understand the role and what skills you need to suceed in this.
