I attended the Bloomberg open day at EC1 in London, I was impressed by Bloomberg's work culture after hearing to their talks. We were told in the presentation that we can apply for this position even if we dont have sales experience. I have over 10 years of sales experience in diverse industries and worked in more than 1o countries. Now after my MBA I applied for this position and got a telephone interview invitation, I did my homework and was ready. I had a good telephone interview and answered all questions. Next morning I got an email saying I am disqualified! I wrote them back for feedback with no reply, I phoned them and insisted on the feedback. The HR lady reverted to me with feedback saying I am not having financial sales experience. If this is the case, why these people waste the time of innocent applicants or make fake presentations!!! Either they have lack of communication among them or they are big hippocrates! I am happy that I am not working with these double standard people who lure applicants with fake assurance and scrap them with no mercy!
