I applied some time in October and about a week later was contacted for a phone screening which went well. A week later I was contacted by a recruiter to do a in person interview which went well also. It was panel interview and there was 4-5 people interviewing me. After the interview it was radio silence. I was constantly following up until I got a response from a different recruiter saying the position was on hold. I found that odd that a position got put on hold while they were actively interviewing and the position was still posted on their website. Then the week before Christmas I get a text from the recruiter stating the recruiting process resumed and if I was still interested. They then asked me to do a walk at the facility but to not tell anyone why I was there as they didn’t disclose the hiring process to the rest of the time. This raised a red flag but I did the walk anyways. This was not an interview but just to tour the facility. During the walk the manager stated that they wanted to reach out but was told I had advised Bodycote I had accepted another position which is false. I am just now getting a rejection after this secretive “interview”. The whole experience was unfortunate. This didn’t seem professional or organized. And to be strung along for months and told fibs is very alarming
