Interview was fine. HR was nice. Only asked one question, so not really enough time to impress. Most of the interview was the interviewer explaining the position. Overall, not ideal, but also not a horrible experience.

Four rounds of interviews with administration, support staff, senior associate and partner over the course of three weeks. I made myself available around their schedules, including during my own vacation time while in a different time zone. They were looking for someone with mid-senior level experience at an entry-junior level salary. Unfortunately, the offer was borderline insulting considering the time and effort I have invested in cultivating and developing my career, so I had to respectfully decline; and also because QE offered a six figure salary which recognized my qualifications and capabilities without the need for any negotiation, which I did try to engage with BSF. One more thought - a firm cannot pretend to be part of the Biglaw environment only when it comes to its attorney compensation, but then forget about its support staff. It's demoralizing, especially when the latter so badly wants to work for them. There is value in that which is often overlooked by a prospective employer. Had BSF with their 60K met me halfway with QE's 100K, I would have chosen BSF.
