I submitted my application to Bombas and then got emailed for a phone screen. The gentleman who reached out was late and then was extremely unprepared to speak to me. You could tell he was reading off a sheet of paper and his cadence was extremely hard to follow. He was uninterested in what I had to say and kept pausing at strange parts of his sentences and said “um” a lot . It was a very awkward interaction and very hard to follow. It was almost as if he didn’t know what to say about the company he worked for. I got an email the following week saying they didn’t want to move forward and was pursuing a candidate they felt was a better fit. Not surprising as the person interviewing me didn’t really know anything about me!! How could I have been a good fit? Awesome company awesome mission but need to work on their interviewing.

Submitted application in July 2022 and received a request for interview in August 2022. The lady was pleasant and nice but felt like I was being strung along. Even though they said they wanted me to consider the Customer Happiness Associate, Social [ temporary], I did. However, even though. I had all the experience and believed the same values, I wasn't selected to move forward. Not sure why since the position was going to be temporary anyway and had experience and am always ready and willing to learn. Disappointed but oh well.
