My ex-colleague recommended me for this position. First I got a hackerrank assignment which I passed and got to an HR-interview stage. I can confidently state that it was by far the worst HR interview I had during 10 years in the industry. The conversation felt more like an interrogation, interviewer was unkind and arrogant. From me not remembering from the top of my head which metrics aside from revenue analytics in my previous job were using to gauge the product's success interviewer made a conclusion that I am not interested in what product I make (???) which is not only ridiculous but also as far from the truth as possible. After that statement interviewer told me that I will be a better fit for a middle engineer position and in a week I got a rejection email 🥴

Completed an initial phone screen with an HR representative where we discussed the role responsibilities, team structure, company culture, and walked through the full interview process and expected next steps.
