O processo levou 3 dias. Fui entrevistado pela Books-A-Million (Aiken, SC) em mai. de 2009
Entrevista
The most poignant question asked was a three part query concerning 1) an example of my best customer service, 2) a time when I thought I was doing the right thing but ended up doing the wrong thing and what I learned from it, and 3) how I dealt with the worst customer I've ever encountered. I was also asked what I believed a typical day at Books-A-Million would be like. My advice would be to include practical aspects such as running a register and tidying up the store along with more abstract duties such as making book recommendations. My interviewer seemed to like that I had a more realistic impression of the job than most.

It was a quick phone call and was very easy, casual conversation. Questions focused on background and interest in working at the store and knowledge of stock management. I also went in person to discuss further.

Know about books. Don't wear jeans. Store has closed so you probably won't get hired here now. Expect to be asked about sales skills and customer service skills and literacy skills.
