Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Boomi.
Entrevista
The first round with the recruiter was pretty straightforward. Did not really ask anything as I was a good match and went to the second round with the hiring manager. With hiring manager basically asked a lot of technical questions to check knowledge. He was nice and accommodating. I would say they were really looking for someone with very much an exact match to the job description. I struggled with some questions to provide clear answers as I did not have pure data engineering/ETL experience all my career. After that, there were 30 - 45 mins of coding rounds. There were 3 SQL questions and 3 programming questions. Needed to write a pseudo code for it. I would say this part of the process I did not enjoy as much as there were a lot of questions for a short amount of time. It felt pretty much like if I had practiced a lot of Leetcode and SQL questions, I would have done better for this part but does not tell anything about if I will be a good cultural fit for the team or if I will be able to learn and grow in the role. I did not really get to know anything about the culture of the company/team as the interviews were focused on skills, which tells me work-life balance isn't a big part of work culture. Even the recruiter was focused on what I know about Boomi and what are my skillsets...So overall not that great of an experience.
