My 1st interview was much more casual than I expected. At the conclusion, I was told I would receive feedback from HR. Never got feedback but about a month later, I get called in for a 2d round interview for a related but higher level position. As the interview walked me to the room, I was told how they want to make me an offer but just need to wait for the contract award. The interview proceeded w/the interviewer basically telling me how great I am. I was walked out and the interviewer told lounging employees how, "he belongs w/Booz". A week later, I receive an email from the recruiter saying I'm no longer a candidate for either position! I understand a job seeker needs thick skin in this process but I felt extremely misled in this instance. Don't tell people they have a job and create false hope. Very inhumane!
