Candidatei-me de outra forma. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Borealis AI (Vancouver, BC).
Entrevista
One rounding of coding on CodeSignal and one round of system design. Each part lasts around an hour. Level of difficulty was reasonable for the position's seniority. I would use a system design book to prepare for the theoretical part.
O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Borealis AI (Montreal, QC) em set. de 2025
Entrevista
It was in 2 parts, the first 30 minutes was basically just having a conversation about my past work experience related to machine learning. No behavioral or "Tell me about yourself" or "Why RBC Borealis". Purely a conversation about my past ML work at my Uni. Second portion was about 20 minutes. This was a technical portion in 2 stages, an easy Python assessment and a PR review assessment. The technical portion was comparable to an easy Leetcode, it was based around hashmaps. The PR review was basically him pasting some code and he asks what would you comment or change. Talked about variable names, edge case handling, error handling

Comparable LeetCode easy about hashmaps - basically given a sentence that has acronyms in it, return a string that contains the acronym and the full word given a dictionary of acronyms mapped to their full words ex( d= { 'kb' : "KiloByte"}). the purpose is to display what the acronym means to an LLM,
overall, it was a straightforward technical interview. it contained a leetcode medium + systems design question and a behavioural component about team dynamics. mostly was focused on ability to solve and communicate.
