At the end of the call, I was told I would hear about the next steps. Instead, I was completely ghosted. I even sent a follow-up email asking for updates, but received no response. With over 6 years of experience in my field, I suspect they realized their budget couldn't match an ideal seniority compensation for the position, but completely ignoring a candidate after an interview is highly unprofessional. Position still open.
