Gave me a take home challenge and a deadline of two weeks. A full stack app with frontend, backend, testing on both, they wanted me to include as many creative ideas, highly impressive UI/UX, data visualisation graphs, cloud services. I mean 2 weeks for all this. Come on! still I tried my best, didnt sleep or eat properly for those two weeks. Did this for the entire 2 weeks in the hope of getting a job. And in the end they said, "Unfortunately we are moving forward with other candidates". I had to ask what was I missing in the assignment, I did everything." They replied "We got more creative ideas". I mean there was zero humanity to appreciate someones time and effort. It might as well have been a client project they got, that they exploited desperate candidates like me to get their work done for free. I am happy I didnt get it. I might have died in that toxic work place.
