Got an email from HR to set up phone interview with sales recruiter. Spoke with the recruiter and was asked general questions about previous positions and why I thought of box. I have a proven track record of beating sales quotas and generating revenue in previous positions although not in software. After talking a bit I was told that I didnt have enough enterprise sales experience. Frankly when it comes to sales if you are good at it you can sell anything. Oddly enough while researching the company I viewed profiles of existing account execs and noticed that quite a few didnt have previous enterprise sales experience. Although they all were from the same college. One made the jump from NFL cheerleader to account exec??? Wonder how that happened?

It was thorough but transparent and quick. From start to finish it was about 3 weeks. While I was not offered the role, I made it through the final interview, so this time frame does not include the time to draw up and send an offer.
The process included several virtual rounds that felt professional and friendly. It felt very conversational, and the panel role-play was engaging and well organized. Everyone I met was nice, though real-time feedback was limited and timelines could’ve been clearer. Overall, positive experience.
