Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa BrainCheck (Austin, TX).
Entrevista
I had a 30 minute phone call with the hiring manager discussing my previous work experiences and potential scenarios that would surface in the role. The questions felt slightly academic.

Started with an HR screen and then moved onto the hiring manager. The hiring manager made no introductions and then started asking generic interview questions. I was a bit taken back since these in no way focused on the role itself. It's something you would hear in an interview for an hourly wage job.
Afterwards, I had a group interview with the team members of the role for a half an hour. I did really well and thought I was a good fit.
One week later I asked for an update in the process an never heard back. I can certainly understand not selecting someone for the role, but to ghost someone after multiple interviews is extremely disrespectful.
Consider this interview experience prior to applying.

Entrevista
This was my third time interviewing with this company. The first time the hiring manager chose to hire someone he worked with before when we were in the final 2. He claimed it was because he had a healthcare background. The second time, after this employee changed positions, I was contacted but I was employed. I consult on the side and was referred to consult and without a chance for a counteroffer was dismissed. This last time seemed to be the right place at the right time and everyone I spoke to advocated for me and heard excellent references. I was convinced the job was mine until the CEO stepped in… not only was she completely vague about what she wanted to hear from me, she didn’t actually interview me. She didn’t ask me any questions. She claimed to want examples of past revenue operations efforts and successes of which I supplied three and was still dismissed as not having what she wanted. It was incredibly vague and I was humiliated.
