3-4 rounds covering background, product, people and design skills . There were two people in the panel all the time and their videos were always ON. It was very well co-ordinated and overall a very positive experience

It was a really positive experience for me overall. The process was extremely efficient from the recruiter initially reaching out to me all the way to the offer stage and I was always kept in the loop. Really appreciated how responsive the recruiter was. The interviews were pretty thorough and not terribly long.
In terms of the steps - Initial conversation with recruiter > Hour-long interview with hiring manager over video > Onsite interview which focused primarily on architecture & management/leadership skills.

The first call was one from a recruiter where he explained 2 possible teams for this role. The next call was with the hiring manager ( a senior manager ). This was a very strange call - not once were questions asked around my technical execution of projects. I had more experience than the hiring manager and I wondered if this introduced uneasiness in the manager's mind. To top it off, there was another junior manager on the call too and I was not made aware of this before. Questions centered around team conflicts, managing tech debt, etc. While these questions were not unexpected the manager drilled too deep into each question.( eg: Why do you not do standups everyday? Why don't you find time everyday?) This was quite ridiculous for a phone screen. The junior manager then repeated some of the same questions! I wanted to end the call soon. Thankfully they stopped in a couple of minutes.
