The interview process was unnecessarily complicated, it included 5 loops with a mixture of in person and virtual (this was before Covid-19). For such an entry level position, it should’ve been only 2 loops within a 2 week timespan at most.

The overall experience is great. I met two interviewers in person in the initial interviews. Then I got an onsite request. But I decided to move with other opportunities.
The hiring manager invited me to have a coffee in person for two initial interviews. It was great to meet with interviewers rather than by phone. They were really friendly. They listened my experience very carefully. They were trying to get to know me better. The process moved very fast. I enjoyed speaking with them.

I applied online, and a recruiter was in contact with me within a few days. There was an initial phone screen, followed by a coding exercise, followed by a technical phone interview, followed by an on-site.
The phone screen, coding exercise, and the technical phone interview were fine. Everyone I spoke to seemed pleasant and professional, and I had good feelings going in to the on-site. However, the on-site was not handled well.
The trouble started when neither the recruiter nor the contact person she designated were at work that day, and so I had to wait in a stairwell for another employee to happen by to admit me through the locked door.
Two of the interviewers seemed extremely uninterested in talking to me, with one even checking his phone in the middle of the interview. Neither of them allowed me to ask any questions of them before they rushed out of the room.
The company asked me to travel to the interview from out-of-state at my own expense. Further, their idea of hospitality for a four hour mid-day interview was to offer me a protein bar while reiterating that they would not provide lunch.
I have marked "no opinion" because my impression from dealing with them on the phone and via e-mail were quite positive, but in-person they were rude, cheap, and wasted my time.
