Applied online through LinkedIn. Company recruiter reached out to me to set up an in person interview at the building. It was a hour drive for me. I showed up early and was given a tour of the building by the Marketing Coordinator. At my scheduled interview time, I met with the company recruiter. We had a very nice hour and fifteen minute interview/conversation. She told me I was a great fit for the position and would be pushing me through the process to meet with the CEO. I was told I would hear from her on a day and time for the following week, this was on a Friday. I emailed her a "thank you for the opportunity" and never heard a word back. I waited a few more days and sent her another message, crickets. That was over 3 weeks ago. Totally ghosted! How very unprofessional and disappointing. If that is how they treat candidates, I couldn't imagine actually being their employee.
