Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa BridgePhase.
Entrevista
I applied online, was invited for a one way video interview. After a few days I was invited to another interview with a hiring team. Turns out, it was a panel technical assessment. I do not know which stage of the interview process I was at.
It took weeks to get scheduled (communicated that they had a few deadlines that upended their schedules). Better communication on where I was in the process would have helped ease my confusion.
Overall the team was pleasant and I enjoyed my interview. While I am disappointed that I did not get an offer, I had a positive experience.

The process was a recruiter screening call and then scheduling for their "final interview" what they called a technical assessment which consisted of 3 live programming scenarios and a long deployment scenario touching five different technologies. A total of 50 minutes to do all of it live with two engineers watching and asking questions while being on camera and recorded. Honestly unless you worked with all those technologies day in and day out I think most people would be hard-pressed too do well in their assessment. I may not have been the right person for the job but I am left not really feeling confident in knowing that because I don't really feel like their scenario gives a thorough understanding of your skills or knowledge. It's kind of a binary result instead. I would encourage them to have some sort of intermediary step asking different knowledge and stuff on these technologies and then doing the technical assessment at the end and not as the sole way of determining your knowledge because if you don't know just one of the technologies you can't finish the thing which causes a domino effect in the scenario.
