My internship interview experience with BMS was a structured, multi-week process that began with a digital HireVue assessment where I recorded video responses to prompts like "Why BMS?" without interacting with a live person. After passing that initial screen, I had a brief logistic phone call with a recruiter, which led to the final round: a 45-to-60-minute video interview with the hiring manager and a panel of potential colleagues. The conversation was heavily focused on behavioral questions, requiring me to use the STAR method to demonstrate how I handle conflict, ambiguity, and teamwork, interspersed with some technical questions relevant to my specific function. throughout the experience, I felt that while they evaluated my hard skills, the team was primarily looking for a self-starter who genuinely aligned with their patient-centric mission.

Very smooth process, interviewers were kind and helpful. 2 rounds, one of the best interview experiences i have had. Both rounds were conducted online using teams. i appreciated how kind the interviewers were compared to my other experiences.

They were very welcoming and created a comfortable environment. Most of the questions were asked regarding the company's values and included behavioural questions regarding these values. It was 45mins via zoom.
