The interview process for management positions is all foreshadowing. They know exactly who they want and waste others time and give others artificial hope for a genuine opportunity based on merit, progression and education. People are being selected based on them fitting to old cultural ways and norms so they accept what senior leadership is telling them. The panels have all been different, or not attending for the same role. The panel appear to be disengaged, and not prepared, likely because they have made their decision. It is talked about amongst management, but no one is prepared to raise questions because you will be prevented from progressing.
