Phone interview with funding source HR - Zoom due to COVID. Phone conversation with CEO. In-person interview with CEO. Was advised would hear from them in about a week. Received cold email that they’d filled the position. This was a very strange experience. Ton of red flags after the initial phone interview.(see interview questions below). They seemed confused on what they wanted from this role - very “make it your own” but also demanding (“this needs to be your number one”). I don’t think there would have been an acceptable work/life balance. Additionally, received contradicting info about benefit offerings. Overall, kind of relieved I wasn’t put in the position to decline this offer. Advice: do your research on this company and it’s CEO. Check the online reviews for her medical practice and consider your involvement.
