The interview process for BDA began by an employment flier sent out via email to the University I attend as a current Senior, which called for a submission of a portfolio and a resume. After the submission, several people were notified for an interview selection and time slots were negotiated. The Interview itself was very laid back and conversational about who you were as a person and a designer and essentially how you could help the company grow, working as an intern - what skills you had, goals, etc. I was interviewed by the Interiors team themselves, there being only three, and the COO of the firm, which was very profound to me. Instead of being interview by the President or partners, the team themselves were directly interacting with the interview and were all very friendly and open about what they were looking for and providing excellent feedback for the work I had to display in my portfolio. Overall, the interview was very immersed and social, and not keen on critically observing you until you felt uncomfortable or intimidated by individuals who have been in the field for years.
