had to wait 30 minutes until they were ready without an apology - asked a lot of questions - many of which weren't critical to the job role. generally gave the impression they liked you if you were calm and gave good answers

One of the worst interview experiences I’ve ever had. I should have known from the moment I walked in, as it was clear that they have no respect for your time. They scheduled my interview at the same time as someone else. I ended up waiting for at least 45 minutes. Once I finally got in there, I was expecting some sort of apology or at least an acknowledgement that they made me wait- “thanks for your patience” something. No, instead I was faced with two people who I could tell didn’t even want to be there- going through the motions type of thing, asking me ridiculous questions that you may ask someone straight out of school when I have well over 15 years of industry experience mostly at senior+ levels. It was an unwelcoming and rather tense atmosphere. It was a huge waste of my time and I gathered quickly that the previous employee had left them high and dry. Clearly, with good reason. To end on a positive note- the girl at the front desk was nice.

Email and then interviewed. Have been in quite a few design studios and the physical set up is chaos and needs a better flow. Questions asked gave the impression the company is really struggling financially. It's a sweat shop and not one of the nicer ones in terms of management. Prepare to be belittled. From research they appear to have a higher turnover rate. Listen and engage a dialog quickly about the position to brighten their mood.
