Entrevista
Had a nice call with the hiring manager for over an hour. Felt hugely positive.
From there it wasn’t great.
Face to face interview was messy. The VC wasn’t working in the room so had to have an IT technician take around 10 minutes of interview time up to fix it.
Once fixed, I presented the task back which was as to brief, however the team wanted something else and made me uncomfortable reversing the whole ask.
Task was prepared to give a future solution however wanted one for ‘people who had gift vouchers in their hand’. This was not mentioned.
Hiring manager apologised for ‘putting me on the spot’ however the task should have been briefed clearer.
Standard competency questions asked - which not a lot of modern tech companies ask these days.

Entrevista
Two stages, both fairly casual and fun conversations getting to know the hiring manager and more about the role. I was made to feel really comfortable. Second stage was more competency based and also with the HR Director which was a nice way to get to know more about the company culture.
