I did the initial first interview. It was a standard Google meet call. They just want to understand why you're looking for a job, and what brought you to them. The unfortunate part was they weren't actually hiring a sales director position. They were hiring a sales executive position, that after a year or two of working, you could become a sales director over a team. So it was a very misleading job posting and interview. Once I realized this I wasn't interested in the role. But it was unfortunate that a business would use this style of tactic. Just say that you're hiring a sales executive role, with a potential future to lead a department. Don't advertise it as a director role, when it clearly isn't. The other part to this that lacked transparency was related to the pay. They listed the target salary when hitting goals was 200k. I brought this up at the end of the interview. Since it was a vague description, I asked for some basic clarification. They danced around The question never clearly answering it. I recently learned the average tenure of an employee there is around 2 years. This starts to make a lot of sense.
