Application and civil engineering testing before the interview. Civil engineering testing has a problem with slopes and foresight. I would recommend starting on it right away. Everything online. Be easy, nothing to be nervous about.

I was given an option of interviewing in person or on zoom. I chose to go in person. Two people interviewed me and there was a short test to complete and then discuss. The people were engaging and made me feel comfrotable.

Standard interview with principles going over past design experience, working knowledge. Short quiz at the end and assessment with principles after. Very personable people, looking for strong culture fit within smaller company. Good projects.
