I was contacted by the Hiring Manager who offered me the opportunity of an Interview with the Managers, Vice President and the Leaders of a new project, I was tested and I was able to ask them information about their new project, meanwhile I was able to understand the status of the company, i saw and felt a really nice multicultural environment, the offices are really nice, a place where you can discuss with your colleagues but have your privacy at the same time, the opportunity of free coffee, juices, coca cola, chocolate it's really good.

Went to the onsite interview through a recruiter. 4 persons were in the interview board -- the QA manager, one Dev team member, two other QA team members. I thought the interview went really well , could answer all the technical questions properly. Also thought handled the behavioral part well. But was shocked not to get the offer. When I asked the recruiting company, they said they were told I was sort of over-prepared which completely baffled me. There was a lay off in my previous company where the company shrinked by 10% and I was one of the unfortunate ones who lost their job. I was very frank about it in the interview and probably that acted against me in the decision making process.
