very reasonable programming assessment, then two phone interviews, then in-person with a lunch and office tour. told to expect decision within days but ghosted for over a month. followed up and received generic rejection email. the entire process took months (from first interview to rejection was 4-5 months).

The initial part of the interview process was a take home programming assessment in the C# language consisting of debugging a program, and then adding an additional feature to the program. The assessment overall is fairly straight-forward. I don't believe it is meant to trick you or be overly complicated, but simply to test your ability to critically think and work within a code-base you aren't familiar with.
