Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa CECP.
Entrevista
Interview was later in the afternoon and interviewer was late. She explained that it had been a hectic day and I completely understood. There wasn’t much of a “getting to know you” or icebreakers/niceties to start, we just dove right in with questions related to my experience and the responsibilities of the role. The interviewer cut me off mid-sentence consistently and seemed to want to speed things up and rush me through the interview from the get-go. It felt as if she’d already decided I wasn’t a good fit before we started. I found her communication style to be aggressive and off-putting.
I left the interview ready to withdraw my application. If an interviewer treats someone they have never met with disrespect, it tracks that they might be difficult to work with on the job.
Disappointing.
We had to do a few tests, one was to know how good our English was. There was a debate section where we spoke on a topic we were passionate about and then the oral interviews.
O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela CECP (New York, NY) em jun. de 2011
Entrevista
I went through three interviews. First a phone interview with a recruiter, then a phone interview with the supervisor for the position, then an in-person interview. The recruiter was always the point of contact and scheduler. There were long delays and periods of no information, I believe on CECP's part, not due to the recruiter. I was based in another East Coast city and had to pay my own way to the in-person interview. The in-person interview included an excel test. I was not offered the position. I emailed and called the supervisor twice, and when I didn't hear back from her, I finally emailed the recruiter and she got the supervisor to respond to me. By that point it had been a month and a half since my final interview.
