Entrevista
After an initial phone screen, I completed a 1 hour video with the hiring manager who went through a series of standardized questions—it was very impersonal. Then, there are three assignments to complete before you can move on to the next round of interviews with upper management. CHG is very process driven in their interview process and I did not feel as though it allowed me to present my best personality, rather, the systematized interviews made it easy for me to say what they want to hear rather than an honest representation of myself. Not a company I would want to work for as they don’t value diversity and authenticity.

The interview questions were based on the STAR method and each of my responses needed to illustrate a Situation, Task, Action, and Response. I was not made aware of this prior to the interview. Some questions included how you might respond to a particular situation or tell me about a time when ___. Very by the book questions and nothing to do with my abilities to perform the job successfully.

First I met with the recruiter who then invited me back for a group interview , where I met with two leaders where I was asked basic interview questions. CEO did a Q & A. Nice touch.

Entrevista
Interviewed by a low level lifer that couldn’t close a door. They have you doing these group exercises that children in daycare would do as a learning activity. There’s absolutely NO urgency for anything. They bring in some sushi chef every other Friday and if you’re lucky enough to be in the in crowd you’ll dine with the elite of the company. If you enjoy bowling, softball tournaments, etc…. This is the place for you!

Entrevista
This was the most rigorous and thorough interview process I’ve encountered in my professional career. My talent acquisition specialist was there every time I needed her, would answer all of my questions and even PREPARED you for your interviews- how many companies can say they do that?! I was wildly impressed and while it was super intimidating, everyone who interviewed me was so kind, friendly, and brilliant. You know that the interview process is so lengthy because they truly take the time to ensure that you’re the right fit for the company because they hire to retire. It also makes you so proud and accomplished when you’re offered the position because you know that you earned it and that you belong :)
