Entrevista
The interview process moved very swiftly. I had 3 separate virtual interviews. The process moved so swiftly that I thought I was a shoo-in for the job. Unfortunately, I was not offered the job of Senior Accountant. The feedback I was given was that they were no longer looking for a Senior Accountant, but for an Accounting Manager. Sadly, I wish companies would come up with better feedback or be certain before recruiting for job and wasting candidates’ time.

Entrevista
Interview process started with half hour virtual teams call. After the initial call I was invited to interview in person. The in person interview was where the company started to show its cracks. The in person interview was set up to last for 2 and a half hours. CIS Secure had five different management teams from five different departments within the company interview me. This mean that every half hour I had a new group of people coming in and asking me the same basic questions about my work history and my education. This could have been easily resolved by having the interview last one hour and having a panel of representatives from each area in the interview so they could each hear the answer. Some of the teams conducting the interview seemed straight up antagonistic like they were trying to prove that I didn't belong at the company before we even started the interview. The company didn't seem to be able to have the different areas communicate effectively. From a diversity standpoint over the course of the five back to back interviews I meet with roughly 14 different people in supervisor roles throughout the company and not a single one of these 14 people was a woman. Seems surprising for a place that brags about being a diverse place to work.
